Hey everyone,

I think we had a pretty good run in Milwaukee . We didn’t qualify very well again, I didn’t get off turn 4 like I needed to and lost a bunch of time, but the race went pretty good – up until the end. It’s always great to run well, but it really doesn’t mean anything unless you can close the race out and finish there.

We picked up some spots at the start of the race and the car was good, just a little free. On the first stop the guys had an awesome stop and we picked up about 5 positions. We worked our way into the top 10 and ran there for quite a while. We were 12th late in the race on a restart when Mike Wallace got into the back of us and sent me around. He apologized after the race, but we had to come from the back of the lead lapped cars again. We worked our way into 13th, and we were running down 12th when a couple of lapped cars got into each other, we got caught in it and cut our left rear tire. Had to pit early, end of longest line penalty, and the only tires we had left had 60 laps on them. We finished it out in 16th.

It was a really fun weekend with the guys, like it always is. They all worked their tails off, and Friday night we went and saw the Milwaukee Brewers take on the Kansas City Royals. What a beautiful stadium...

It’s off to Memphis this weekend in the #4 truck. Hopefully we’ll improve on that 10th place finish we had in Mansfield . Can’t wait to get after it again!

I know that I've been behind on my updates and I apologize, so here you go...

Life just keeps getting busier and busier for us. With the added CTS races in the #4 truck for Bobby Hamilton Racing he's been gone every weekend for the last couple of months. I'm definitely not complaining though - bring on more races anytime! I've only missed one race this year - Kentucky a couple of weeks ago. That was tough, but my good friend Jessica came over and watched it on TV with me. It's never easy to be at home while he's racing, but having friends around makes it a lot better, so "Thanks Jess!"

Milwaukee was a blast last weekend. Kevin's birthday was that Friday and the garage closed early, so we were able to go to a Brewers baseball game with some of the guys from the team. We had a great time and they won! Saturday was really busy since it was a one day show - practice early, qualifying and then the race. It sure makes for a long day, especially since I had an early morning flight back to Charlotte Sunday morning. Ughhh, but I made it thank goodness!

Well we're off to Memphis this weekend and I'm really excited. Maybe we'll even have some extra time to check out the city!

P.S. I also want to thank everyone that has sent out their congratulations and well wishes since we announced that we're expecting. It means so much to us and we'll be sure to keep everyone updated along the way!
